I have a 2004 z71 tahoe with a brand new lq4 6.0 longblock, cold air intake, blackbear tune 4500 miles on it all of the sudden starts studdering at idle, cant figure out whats wrong,
I have:
Cleaned MAF sensor
Cleaned throttle body
Check all electrical connections
Checked all my grounds

Everything looks good and it runs great just when stopping at a redlight or stop sign it studders but isnt consistant, i dont want to just start throwing parts at it and not fix it, someone please shed some light on this for me!

Not a rough idle its like it is running great misses then runs great for a min then misses, it not consistent at all, ive had an intake leak before that definitely not it i sprayed carb cleaner around the new intake gasket an never changed idle speed... like i say its not missing like a misfire or a vaccum leak i dont know.... idling at around 500rpm, it fluctuates to 400rpm every once in a while.... im lost

Mass air flow maybe? Try swapping with a good one. Any stored codes? Also I'd try disconnecting the battery once you put the maf on.

Update:
Put it on a machine, no stored codes, tried new maf sensor, studder still there, went back and cleaned everything real good, again still there, put it back on machine while the motor was running and cylinder 3&4 are missfiring, about to check the plugs, but they are new along with the wires, im lost!
Anyone heard of a cracked intake manifold making it do strange things like this?
Thanks in advance!

Sometimes it's easy to jack a plug wire while installing or disconnecting. Maybe change wires on those cylinders or at least check them and ohm them out.
