HELP 95 tahoe headlights cut off

Ok so I have a 95 Tahoe LT and I'm having a really annoying problem with just my headlights, they just randomly cut off while driving I have to pull over cut the truck off and turn it back on and then turn the headlights back on then I'm good for about another 20 miles... any clue as to why this is happening is it just another quirk that I have to deal with. any help would be great thanks

Yes, they are factory headlights.

I have a bad wire in the column somewhere, mine started doing that pretty soon only the high beams worked ...
