So I put a aftermarket fan set up on my 2004 tahoe using the ls1tech wiring harness and the pcm has been tuned by BBP. EEverything was going great till today when the fans will not kick one at all. I noticed this while idlin when my ac started to blow hot and the engine was running hot. Any suggestions on how to diagnose this or where tostart????

Totally had melted a fuse and fuse box, blew the other. Fans are obviously pulling way too many amps. Several reviews of the Dorman 620-654 say theirs did too. Contacted wiring harness people and will contact Dorman tomorrow to figure this out. Amazon return window is past. Dorman better refund or replace. I do not want to eat the 140 bucks I spent just to go to a wrecking yard and pull actualy stock 05+ fans

You can always run a relay harness so it takes power straight from the battery with a larger gauge wire. This will solve the power issue. Just use the fan relay from the fuse box to trigger your new fan relay setup. It's easy to do just four wires and a relay.
