HELP!!! Bilstein 5100s on a AWD Denali with Z55

Sorry to dig up a thread, not sure if you figured out your situation, but i used the factory spring seat from my DXL. Dont know why they think you need the other one. I used the 5100 adjustable strut on the lowest ring and put in a 1.5 spacer. My truck is looking awesome. Should have it all buttoned up soon.Screenshot_20200710-184650_Gallery.jpg

Through a set of moog uca's at her. Budget didnt allow for anything fancier. Seats slid right off my factory strut and slipped on the billy with no problem at all.

@TXSpeed418DXL I will be due for new ball joints when summer is over, how was the install and are the MOOGs any good? I have seen a couple people saying to stay away from MOOG but I assume they were using their economy line or products.

Curious about this issue as well; my shop had no problem installing new 5100s and HD Moog rear coils on a 2011 Suburban LTZ as a direct replacement for the Z55 setup. Front perches are set on the first ring from bottom, no spacers. Truck is lifted 1.5-ish inches all around. Looks good as does yours. Will post pix after I get rid of the 20" rims and put my new Grabber AT-X 275/65-18s on it. I found a set of 2017 Silverado Z71 18" takeoffs for wheels. Waiting on the shop to clear a few minutes in the next couple of days to get them mounted and balanced.

Ride is much better than the blown out Z55 stuff and it pulls an 18' Winnebago like a champ.

So then is it possible to buy a lift kit for these rigs while deleting the air ride function?

Can anyone confirm the 5100's are 187237 and 186643? The Bilstein site doesn't help. Thanks in advance.

@MattC259 Moog 81244 is the front spring to be paired with the Moog 81069 rear spring. When I got my 5100s the part numbers were: front: 24-186940 rear: 24-187237. I hope that helps. I personally installed them on my rig so I am very familiar with the process.

I just did the rear springs for now; fronts seem fine and I'm not adding an aftermarket bumper or other weight-adding accessory up front just yet. I'll get the matching front springs if/when I do go with a winch and bumper but that's down the road a bit. I think you'll like the Moog/Bilstein combo, especially when you're not replacing air shocks in 70k miles...
