Thanks always nice to hear when someone appreciate a own car. :)

Your second post I don't really understand what you referring to? :)
Do you mean your SPID and where your car are built or is it related to you number plate and insurance?
Guess my poor English gives it away that I am not English-speaking. :D

As mentioned here from the forum gods I do have the rpo code's ZW7 and G65.

Now my shocks are covered in undercoating so can't see what I have but doesn't this shocks looks like regular ones?
As my car are very stiff I have my bad feeling that someone down the lane have change out my suspension against something non stock.
Or what does the forum say? :)20200422_133216.jpg

Here are my old ZW7 shocks.IMAG1301_63753399822918.jpg
New to regular rear shocks.Resized_IMAG1300_63753070580522.jpeg
You can really see the size difference. Much bigger.Resized_20171218_113928_63752626173856.jpeg
Here's the tag with part number from the original shock. Came from the rear of my 03 Tahoe. They're very expensive when bought new.

Your shocks do not appear to be the G65 (Nivomat, manual self-adjusting) shocks. Nivomats would have a much larger diameter. I suspect they've been changed, although typically changing them out to regular shocks would require a stiffer rear spring (like the Z71 springs); otherwise the suspension is squirrely. Perhaps the springs that may have been installed are too stiff?

This forum rocks for real, it's alive and have serious knowledge. :)

Thanks guys @Tonyrodz and @Fless this was very helpful.

@Tonyrodz Yes I did see the G65 shock's did have sky high prices on them and are they worth it? Those pictures are amazingly good. :) :)

@Fless Yeah the car are to stiff, I did buy the car in the city south of here and the road where I did test drove it was silky smooth so didn't felt something odd.
But here at home the car doesn't feel right, the handling are super in the curves, but it doesn't eat up the bumps in the road, it's messed up for real. :)

How can I tell what springs are right or wrong for my setup?
Must I buy everything new so I know what I have?

Guessing the springs look alike but have different performance.

Now it did get to many questions in one post. :D

The GM page didn't work, did send back broken links so I never did get a active account. Did try many times and zero luck.
Did read on the Internet people sending email to [email protected]
Did try it and fast response, they did send back right away a PDF with the Build sheet.

Super service! :) :) :)

Down below if someone are interested I have it.

Thanks for all the help and a warm welcoming here on the forum. :)
