Help Diagnosing Oil leak

Well this weekend I got around to changing the oil cooler block off plate the job ended up being more than I expected. For one thing the oil cooler block off was seized to the oil pan due to some type of rubber cement gasket. I had to hit the plate with a rubber hammer to get it removed. Once removed I had to unbolt the front drive shaft to get enough room to use gasket scraper to remove the cement gasket material from the oil pan cooler location and the block off plate. Will report back after doing some heavy driving.

if it was glued on that good. I bet it wasn't leaking.

probably like mine, something near there but always looks like it's coming from the block. on mine if you look just right thru the drivers side fender well you can see it and watch the oil build up.

Well the oil plate gasket seems to have cured most of the leaking which would make someone think its the rear seal. Oil was streaming from the plate to oil filter area and blowing near the inspection plate area. This leak somehow just had formed. And I did notice my oil pan gasket seeping from between the block and oil pan producing a drop near bottom of the oil pan coming fr. Right near the starter the weird thing is it doesnt seep all the time. Guess ill be replacing the oil pan gasket pretty soon.

I ordered the oil deflector off ebay a few weeks ago to have it on hand if I ever went back into the oil pan but somehow it got lost in the mail due to snow blizzard. Im going to just keep driving the truck to see if oil consumption has slowed down.

thats what I was thinking but after driving the truck no oil has built up around the oil block off plate
