its on the block, not the pan.Well this weekend I got around to changing the oil cooler block off plate the job ended up being more than I expected. For one thing the oil cooler block off was seized to the oil pan due to some type of rubber cement gasket. I had to hit the plate with a rubber hammer to get it removed. Once removed I had to unbolt the front drive shaft to get enough room to use gasket scraper to remove the cement gasket material from the oil pan cooler location and the block off plate. Will report back after doing some heavy driving.
Hope the leak is fixed
