Help for better results with a PC 7424

So i picked up a porter cable 7424 a couple weeks ago and finally got a good chance to use it.
Picked my wife up a 04 yukon 80k miles paint was in ruff shape and i think i did a pretty good job but i know with the right products i can get better results.

this is what i did.. and i would like some input of what will help me get more depth to the paint...

2 bucket wash with filter deal in the bottom of the bucket. wool mitt...

removed badges on the sides and rear, used 3m eraser to remove adhesive

removed silver pin stripe with 3m eraser

washed the truck again

clay bared everything

compound on 3.5" CCS orange pad to all windows ( removed all water spots and crap build up)

meguires scratch X and 3.5" orange ccs pad over ghosted pin stripes and emblems

moved up to 5.5" CCS orange pad with Pinnicle advanced swirl remover

moved to CCS green 5.5" and meguires ulitimate liquid wax



Im hurting on WAX and no sealer...

The meguires ulitimate was kind of a last min. oh crap i dont have anything lets go to autozone because they are the only ones that cary anything above turtle wax....

Whats the consensus on here... what do you guys use for a buffer... ( i dont trust myself enough to jump into a highspeed buffer with flat pads yet...)

are there some more steps i can throw into the polishes???

i need a good wax... its hot here in gulfport ms. so i think a syntetic wax might do me better but i really have no preferance...

What do you guys recomend for sealers???


sorry no before pictures but it was bad... who ever owned this before i dont think waxed much the paint was very faded... not beat up (scratched or dented just faded bad...)

side note... i havent searched yet but i want to remove the roof rack to do a better job on the roof.... is there a gasket??? or what is underneath that mounting bracket???

Then here's the sealant I use http://www.chemicalguys.com/BEST_CAR_WAX_p/wac_113_16.htm

Do a alcohol wipe down or a dawn wash to remove all existing build up or waxes then put two coats of m-seal on then top it off with the lava wax that will give you what you want...

Sorry I missed this just unitl now. But I use ALL Adams Products and use the PC for all my buffing and use the Adams Wax and Adams Machine Super Sealent. I have to say it is the best products/ customer service I have ever delt with. The wax feels like butter once done and last for a very long time (if you keep the car clean) and don't use the automatic washes that much.

Yeah just get rid of the existing build-up/oils you just mix 50/50 water and alcohol

Adams is the only way to go, especially with the PC

i use 95% adams you cant beat it. ive used a lot of brands out on the market. i have a flexs and a pc polisher also

No not alcohol wipes ... get a bottle of Isopropyl and dilute it with water and dump it into a towel and wipe down the surface to remove old waxes and greases.

Can get at Walmart or Walgreens grocery stores ... pretty basic rubbing alcohol
