Hey. I am the proud owner of a new used 2010 Chevy Tahoe LT 2WD. I love this vehicle and what my wife and I really enjoy is the smooth ride quality. Unfortunately, the ride we enjoy so much is on stock rims and tires which are not appealing at all. I am looking for a tire and wheel recommendation that is high in style but doesn’t sacrifice the great ride quality of the stock Tahoe. I would appreciate any recommendation any of you could give, pics would be really great and details regarding sizes and specifics. Thanks in advance for your help.

22s is just about as big as you can go and not sacrifice any ride quality.
Check out the TBSS 22" wheels.
Or you can be like me and say screw a bit of ride quality and get 26s :D

Check out mine 22's Trailblazer replica wheel wrapped in 285/45/33 Nitto 420's. Didn't really feel the ride change much at all. Tese wheels are Matte Black, but he also has them in Chrome, gloss black and Grey. Norcall SS will hook you up.

Thanks for all the info so far guys. It's really helping me to focus my search. Anymore pics of tire and wheel combinations from other members that have pleased you look wise and from a ride quality standpoint?

I like those wheels, but looking for them in black. What offset are they? I don't want wheels that stick out. Thanks

I say stick with Factory 22x9 rims. If you go any higher, like Modded said, you WILL feel loss in ride quality. Do you have 17's, 18's, or 20's right now? If you have 20's, then going to the Factory 22's will have minimal difference in feel/ride quality.

I just switched from KMC Slide 24's on 305/35/24 to GM OEM CK916 22's on 285/45/22 and it is easier to turn and has more pick up when I gas it now :Handshake:

It's a give and take though.. now my rims aren't as big LOL

Dude I love those tires... do they make them in 305's? My next tire will def be wider.
