So I was going to originally do the 5/5 or 5/6 drop but I am going to hold off and just do 3/5 or 3/4...

I have nathans 1-3" Torsion Keys and so I am going to start with the front.. Will I need camber bolts/bushings w/e if I go down 3" on the keys.. and should I get HD or Drop shocks for the FRONT if I just go down 3".

Now for the rear, am i correct when i say the rear is 1" higher than the front? if so i would imagine I would want a 4" kit? but everyone seems to go 3/5? either way, what is a good kit.. I know I need Springs/Shocks(HD w/ Extenders or drop shocks) and what else would I need?

sometimes a 3/5 even sits a lil too high in the rear for most of us..but a belltech 4 sits at 5 anyway so thats safe..

3inch key drops are pretty common around here.. so im sure someone will chime in but i am not a key fan so im not the person to tell you what alignment bits youll need

Depends on what your looking/ willing to spend. Personally, i would not want to rely on keys only for the front end unless it was only going to be an inch or 2. I dont believe they make 3" drop spindles, ive only ever seen 2". Most 3/5 kits that go the spindles route, consist of the 2" drop spindles and lowering keys up front and coils, shock extenders and possibly a relocation bracket out back.
Id suggest, Mcgaughys spindles since they are cheaper than new arms and get the job done, some belltech coils out back since i believe they have a 4" drop coil and some shock extenders unless you are going drop shocks which is mostly a personal preference

nathan mentioned HD Shocks with extenders as being just as good as any drop shock out there... correct?

1) yes you will need camber bushings at 3 inches for the front
2) rear I would get the complete rear djm kit/tb springs. Will sit lower and ride better
here are the parts you would need
tb springs to drop it 5.5 inches and ride great
http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=107

rear hardware kit
http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=98

and with rear djm shocks it rides great.
So total would be $450 in rear and your set and that includes rear djm shocks.

Here is a older customer that ran the rear set up feedback on the kit

also for drop on 305 40 22 tires with the rear djm kit you will sit at 32.5 inches about from ground to fenderlip. on 305 35 24 the white tahoe i posted sat at 32.75 from ground to fenderlip. What size tires do you have on your truck?

I just finished installing my drop kit the other night. It is on my 04 Yukon XL. I havent taken any pics yet and I still need to get to the alignment shop. I used purple GM keys, DJM rear coils, and Belltech Nitro Drop 2 shocks. When I first installed it the front dropped 3in and the back 3.5in. I cranked the front back up some because I am not sure how much negative camber I will be able to get out with the factory cam bolts. So right now it is level with the front and rear fenders from the ground. So right now I am at 2in front and 3.5in rear.

First impressions - It does feel tighter but I think it is fine. I have lowered pretty much every vehicle I have owned so it did feel loose to me when it was stock. I need to drive it now that I cranked the front back up an inch.
