Ok, I am so far out of touch with car audio these days so help me out a little.

I currently run all stock stuff, my CD player died and that sucks for me.

What I'd like to have is a radio/CD with an AUX input I can run an Iphone and or an MP3 player.

Not looking to break the bank on this, low cost id good for me.

Ideas?

Sony. Good clean sound and good on price. I been using the same Sony for 6 years now never had a problem with it. And one with a remote is good too, safer driving ;-)

You could buy a PAC GM9 audio adapter for $35, audio cables for $10, and a new CD unit for $?? from the junkyard.

Stock radio with Ipod hookups for about $60.

I had the one-step-up-from-base Pioneer headunit for my Subaru, great sound quality and the CD player won't skip for any bump. It costs about $100 and installation in your dash with a kit wouldn't even run one shop/hour.

JVC Arsenal KD-A735BT is what I bought, paid $139 at Crutchfield and has a bunch of nice features and sounds good.
