Help! Need a Sub/ System! Suggestions??

I currently have a pioneer AVH-p4000 DVD head unit hooked up to my Bose speakers.

The base is somewhat good, but I want just cleaner sounding speakers and a better, cleaner base.

I am thinking like 1 12" and an amp? Any suggestions? I don't want it crazy obnoxious, just a clean, crisp base sound for rap music but still want it to hit pretty hard!

Suggestions on which type, and what kind of box to get and what amp? I don't know much about this stuff so please explain!

P.S. Only wanting to sound around $150-$175

i have one 10' mtx thunder 4500 in my tahoe that fits in the stock spot with a built in amp
i think it has a proportional amount of bass you are looking for
i also have rockford 3-ways in all my doors which are really crisp speakers

Yeah. Not looking to spend alot. Frys has a sub and amp and box deal for 175. It's a 12"

that is a super tight budget. dont expect the sound quality to be worth a crap at that price for a combo

thats what im saying.....your can barely get a low end system with install for about 500 bucks...well that is if you buy new merchandise
