i need help on what type of gears i need to get if i have 37's

4.88's or 5.13's
5.13's if you want good power...
I ran 4.88's with my 36" and it was perfect!

Simple formula -

New tire height X Stock gear / Original tire Height = exact new gear ratio.\

Original 265/75/16's are 31.6"
Original gear - 3.73's
Your 37's are probably about 36.4", actual

36.4 x 3.73 = 135.77
135.77 / 31.6 = 4.30 gears.

Factor in the extra ooomph needed to turn them, 4:56 would be almost ideal. Lower gears (4:88's) might get you off the line better, but would be horrible for mileage. Higher gears (4:10's) MAY get you a bit better mileage, but at the expense of bogging off the line. However, the 4:10's may also reduce mileage, as your engine might be out of it's powerband.

If your OBS full size rig is lifted 10-14 mpg is expected no matter what----
get 4.88s and you will love it....
