I have an 02 suburban and im trying to replace the fuel filter. Does anyone have any idea how to get the front quick connect off without the "special tool" im kind of stuck right now, the stores are closed and I cant get it off to change it. The new filter came with a new plastic connect fitting.

you have to have that tool, which is actually a ring looking thing...just go to auto zone, advance, napa and they will have it!
sorry your stuck bro but without it you might damage the "truck side" of the connection....i did mine about a month ago it was a ***** even with the tool...it comes in a pack of like 4-6 diff sizes the pack i had it was the light blue colored one.... Hope this helps you out a little

Good Luck!
