Gully the data dump is below in esxel form compatible with new and old version. I will let you look at first to figure out the raw data for fun but will explain anything you want. Not sure if the Scan XL demo version can playback log files but try it.

In short massive misfiring in cylinder 5-7 because two injector acting up a little to much at low rpm but at higher speed the injectors pick up some since being pushed harder cutting back on the misfires dramatically unfortunately while the puter thermo measured about 195 at one point the dash gauge and my IR thermo starting recording a dangerous rise in the left bank being higher in the back past 240+ so I shut it down. so that with the matching pressure reading in 5-7 leads definitely to a cylinder gasket or head crack. Plus some worn valve seals. So Now I just need to get some money together to tear them down. I could probaly do both heads with new seals and the fuel spider for about $600 which covers new fluids, cleaning, new gaskets from the heads up and an XL king arthurs supreme from round table pizza and 2-ltr mug root beer to celebrate(gone in 40 minutes tops). But not including machine shop inpection. I just need a secure place to do it once I have the dough or let some a good shop do if desparate and then get on with the rest of vehicle repairs.

Hey Gulley would it help if you had the repair manual info to do it or are you short on workspace and tools too?

Actually the demo will play back log files so download it, install it, and pm me with your email So I can send the log to you then you can graph it if you want.

Man sunlitcomet, I'm short on workspace and the tools to do a rebuild, all I have is my backyard, a small tool set and this forum :word:
I still want to download that demo and look at those graphs though, just for grins.
My truck is back from the shop, they rebuilt it with a Comp Cam. Don't know enough about them to say what kind of cam it is but I know it needs the BB Tune to run right. I gotta give it some gas to keep it going at idle. The card that came with the cam says it's 212/218 at .050 duration...

I would not mind building a internal modified engine one day but I don't think any of it is street legal in california.

I have three different log files when you ready for them.

took mine to a pro out side mckinney he listened to me and what i had done already, did some checks on the truck and said yes your heads are the problem. strouse automotive if you're interested out east of mckinney on hwy 380. :party33:

I couldn't find the free download for the program, I did find it for $25 at one online store, seems as though it's only free with purchase of the hardware. Haven't had a lot of time to dig around for it though.
I looked at the spreadsheet, sheez that's a lot if data that I know nothing about, lol. Maybe it would make more sense when it's displayed in the program?

Just wanted to give you an update on new log files if you want them. Had a chance to try the first ones yet? The new ones are after the spider replacement. It hualing some serious mail right now. Even the indications I had of a damage head or gasket are gone. Although I did have the engine washed down too. So the gauges are all as expected and I just have to get it smogged for plates and tags and move on to the rest of repairs below.

This may have been said already, but I was having the same problem (engine light- gm code read that cylinder 2 & 6 were misfiring). I changed the coils on those cylinders first to see if that was the issue since the new plat nkg plugs were previously installed without success, and the idiot light went out after 5 mins of driving.
