2004 Tahoe with 360,000 kms
Few months ago my brother and I were working underneath the truck and I noticed the the front bumpstops were resting on the a-arms. This explained why when I drove over pot holes the CD player would skip.
While watching the bumpstops we cranked the torsion key bolts. We ended up maxing out the bolts and the bumpstops were barely off the a-arms.
Drove it and it was fantastic! Softer ride and CD Player didn't skip!
PROBLEM: I noticed the CD Player skipping again. Looked underneath and now the bumpstops are sitting on the a-arms again.
Is it because of the mileage and the torsion bars are gone? Help! What are my options?
