help trouble shoot oil leak.

hello,

i purchased a 98 yukon slt 4x4 with 158k on it a few weeks ago.and i notice there is a leak coming from driver side.here are some pics.

that is either a oil leak from the pan gasket oil cooler lines or power steering pump. but looks strongly like the power steering section. take a sample and smell it and compare to the oils on the two different dipsticks and look for low fluid levels.

It all seems like oil.I added a quart a few days ago and its about a 1/3 quart low already.I folled the oil cooler lines and at the radiator they where dry but where the steel line meets the hose is all gunk and fresh oil.also if I folllow the lines to the housing on the oil filter all along the hoses and the engine by there is all oil filled.I was thinking that maybe the lines have a good leak and maybe the fan is blowing it around.you can't see any wetness from above but when you look threw the grill ane follow the oil cooler lines its a whole nother story.thank you for the input.will double check tomorrow again.
Are the oil cooler lines a hard job.any special tools needed.

I will double check the power steering pump tomorrow.I notice in that one pic its red fluid.
