I recently did a self install with a Viper 5101. I ran a test and it is installed correctly, but it is giving off a code and not starting. I know the system comes in manual transmission mode. I can't find out how to program the unit for an automatic transmission. I have read through the installation manual, and I can't seem to find it there. Anyone know how to program it for ATM?

you have to program the alarm either with the handheld smart programmer, or the manually by using the programming method with the valet button. This is all covered in the installation manual.
