I had a shop work on my door locks etc and I think they screwed up my electric mirrors! Anyway, taking it back to them is not an option and I have started troubleshooting myself and I am stuck ....

I took off the connector to switch, and I have Orange 12v, using a test light (and MM) using external ground.

Secondly, I test using the light, on Orange 12v AND connector ground, I STILL HAVE LIGHT, but according to my troubleshooting guide, I now have an open "D" wire (says red wire, but I don't have a red), but D is indicated on the connector.

Any ideas what I should try next, as I have had the door panels off and reconnected the wire harness connectors in both doors at mirrors and at LH mirror switch????

I would like to know how to wire up 12v and/or ground to mirrors to make sure my motors are good, but not sure what wires to use to do that .... and if there is anything else I should do .....

Hope I explained this all correctly ......
