Help with in dash lights

Hey all, I have to finally do the infamous in dash light bulb repairs on my yukon. I was trying to figure out what bulbs I need to replace the old ones with. Also would I be able to change the color of the lights? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I know there are other threads on this subject but I had a hard time understanding it Thanks

You solder in new bulbs.

If you want to go LED/change color, you solder in an LED with resistor.

Which part of the other threads is confusing to you?

Thanks alot, the thing i dont get is what Led bulbs do u use i saw the thread by nathanjax but I dont see which bulbs you have to use for the dash lights

5mm round leds with 470 ohm resistors. 5mm flat top leds will spread light better though.

Thanks guys sorry to bug u guys again but im not much of a car savvy guy when it comes to repairs. So if u could let me know what i would need to change the entire dashboard leds and if u could provide a link of where to buy that would be awesome. Thanks again

Get them from v-leds.com. I think Scottyboy would be the one to answer your question about the number of leds you need as he has done other member's controls for them. Hopefully he chimes in. If he doesn't I can PM him for you.
