help with low idle/stall!!!!

i have a 2003 yukon xl, i went to start it today and on first try all i got was the tick, tick, tick from under the hood. then 5 min later it started but was a rough start. well i started driving and about 5 min down the road, i stop to turn at the gas station and it stalled out. started right back up but low idle and stalls when put in drive. always starts right up but dies in gear. drove just fine the day before, i have had it start rough in the past though. it has 103,000 miles on it. PLEASE HELP ME!!! thank you

Clean out your throttle body, probably dirty and will cause the condition you are speaking of!! I clean mine out 2 times a year and have never had that problem since, get some Seafoam Deep creep spray and hose it all out real good!!

cleaned the TB out real good and that seemed to do the trick. as far as the hard start...... had Autozone test the battery this morning and sure enough it was bad so hopefully after i install this new battery i will have no more issues. also got a thing of Lucas fuel treatment to put in.

Good to hear, hopefully the battery does indeed solve the rest!! Might also think about seafoaming the intake while you are at it, especially if it's been a long time or not at all that it's been done!!
