So i just messed up...I got a smog check after doing some work on my 96 Yukon in which I had the negative cable removed from the battery. Anyways It came back as "rejected" because there was 4 sensors that "weren't registering yet". I called GMC and they said they couldn't exactly tell me how long it would take to get them to register but to just drive it normally for a while.

Here's the problem, the car is unregistered so I can't take it on the highway or down the street so I've been trying to emulate stop-n-go driving as best I can around the block.

Since there is no engine light on, how I can tell when I should get it smoged again? i was hoping at least one person may have some words of wisdom...

Thanks
