If you want a shiny/clear look to a painted bow tie you need to remove it, clean the foil/paint off the back, then paint it from behind. There's a right way and a wrong way to do it. I can find the details if anyone is interested.

damn i want a HD hood

First post here fellas. I recently came across 2 HD hoods. We retired 2 trucks in our fleet and I managed to remove the hoods. I'm gona keep one for mine and pass the other one to someone for a few bucks. Anyone local interested let me know.. Looking forward to sharing and learning from this site..
