Hi Sterling... I was just reading your post as a guest and had to join to give you an answer. I have the same truck... but a denali.. had the same issue and it turned out to be a philthy MAF Sensor, cleaned mine and runs like a dream. hope this helps.

lol thanks i will definitely check that!!! hopefully thats it and it just needs cleaned. did u use any specific cleaner on it?
