My family and I are from the winter state of Michigan, and I don't think winter is going to stop this year, We just picked up a 99 Tahoe and thought we would join this site, I paid a whole 500.00 for the Tahoe and even though it needs a little work it has a solid body and clean interior, the engine has a slight miss to it but, I think it maybe due to a bad fuel pump or EGR, I also found a nice loud clunk from the middle of the vehicle and it seems to be coming from the cross member where the torsion bar goes into, seems that it has a mount that is on the sides of the cross member and it has snapped in two, 21 bucks at the dealer to replace it, the 4 wheel system works great as do all the electrical on the inside, as I go along I will be replacing the sound system as there isn't one right now, not even speakers lol, but I have a system that will be going in either today or tomorrow. Gld to be here and hope to make some friends along the way.
