New member from sunny and hot Lost wages, Nevada.
I have been a frequent visitor to the site, but never joined officially until today. I have a 1999 GMC Yukon SLT 4wd, that I purchased back in 2014 with 59k miles. Since I have had it, I have been taking my time repairing some of the things that were broken or damaged by the previous owner. The windshield had a small crack in it, replaced that with a used one for 100.00. The drivers mirror was broken, and the passenger side wasn't wired up when it had been replaced previously. The stock stereo and speakers had to go and were upgraded. And the one that had taken the longest was the front bumper. It had a big dent in it from some small fender bender before I got it. I didn't want to replace it with a boring OEM. So I found a local welder who was willing to fabricate a custom one for under 400.00. finally after a long and patient wait, it was installed last night. None of these would have been possible without frequent visits to this site and it's contributing members and the advice and insight you all helped to provide. So thank you to everyone.
