Unfortunately my transmission has went out on me in Mingo Junction, OH. Trying to get it towed to Memphis,TN with minimum expenses as possible . sooooo ... my option now is to pay a friend with another tahoe to pull it on a dolly trailer .. any suggestions or ideas ??? im honestly not too sure about this idea and i only have a $500 budget

Make sure the xfer case is in neutral before you tow. Welcome to the forum!

I've also heard of people disconnecting the front prop shaft.

Welcome. Flat tow it but like stated t case in neutral if 4wd or take the driveshaft out if 2wd.
