Hello everyone, just recently bought a 95 Chevy Tahoe LT on Sunday
And today my piston rod broke off from the head and tore a hole in the oil pan
I desperately need to fix it as I need a way to get to work
after fixing it though I think I’ll stay in here as it could be a useful resource

Welcome to the forum from Oregon.
Used engine is quickest.

By the way, rod did not break off of head. Rod attaches at piston and crankshaft. Time to statt learning. Was engine making ANY noise, since thru a rod in 2 days?
