hid ballast polarity

has anyone had to swicth the polarity on their hid ballast before on a 07& up tahoe

switch it at the plug? Alot of the HIDs you have to plug in backwards. No biggie. Chinese stuff I guess lol

Had to for my DDM's. First plugged them in what I thought was correctly and was pissed when either didn't work. Went to their website and it says turn plug to match polarity. You can either force it or Dremel / wire snip the tab for easy mating. I forced it. Been fine ever since.
