i have a 2016 suburban..my headlights flash and shut off now that we have installed HIDs..we have installed two separate sets, thinking this issue was maybe from a faulty set..both sets have done the same thing..the strange thing is, when the car is OFF and you turn the headlights on, they stay on..when you turn the car ON (either on the AUTO setting or with them on) they come on, start to flicker then shut off..i have not seen where anyone else has had an issue but hopefully someone has some insight?? PLEASE HELP!

I have the same issue. Random 1 headlight or both out. Have to shut off auto and turn it back on to get them to work. Sometimes, multiple times. I have the relay and capacitors too...

I'm going to switch at some point. It's a PITA, and I don't understand why it does it with a relay and capacitors. Strange thing is, if I remote start, it's always OK when I put the key in. Only gives me problems at night when the headlights come on right at crank.

Mine too. Half the passenger side LEDs stopped working. Cheaper to replace both with Spyders then 1 OEM headlight.

I installed a set of slim ballast 35watt HIDs by Xentec and they worked fine. The slim design even fit in the actual headlight, ballasts and all wiring with no cutting or drilling. Then once I actually turned on the truck they flickered three times and finally stayed off. I turned the lights on and off manually 6-7 times in a row and then they stayed on. So I did some reading and it said the canbus will turn the pulse into a solid current and correct the issue. Once I get it in the mail I will give it a shot and update this post. Hopefully this corrects the flicker.
