I know there is a ton of threads out their but can't seem locate this topic.

I am looking to upgrade to either HID or LED plug n play kit for my 2007 Yukon Denali.
What do you guys recommend over the other? I will be using the stock housings and not looking to do a full high dollar retrofit.

As far as HID kits I found this http://www.theretrofitsource.com/hi...TROL-H13,XB-BALLAST-35,H13BX-43K#.Vi5pGl88KnN
Looks like good quality and easy to install.

I can't find any LED KITS. What do you guys recommend?

Also with either kit will they run as daytime running lights?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You're gonna get the "HID only in a projector housing because it's illegal if you don't" crowd in here I'm sure but....

Lots of people run hids in the factory housings. I have a 55w 5k kit and it is night and day literally... They are way brighter than stock and the only time I get flashed is when I'm towing my camper and the truck is squatting.
The LED kits are brighter than the halogen and come on instantly but it is a smaller step up in light compared to HID.
Do what you like and don't mind the HID projector police on here.

Well if your gonna ride around with 55w hids in reflectors than I may as well roll around with my quad highs on... that's basically your logic...

"My lights are brighter and I can see better but screw everyone else"

Just because you don't get flashed doesn't mean your not blinding other drivers.

That didn't take long... they're really not that bad. Stop being a so dramatic. The 6" spot lights behind my grill and my high beams blind people. Not my HIDs
