Have you tried swapping the ballast and/or bulb from one side to the other to see if the problem follows? Might be something at the plug itself, the ballast or the bulb!! Best way to find out which one is the problem!

If the problem moves, then it's the bulb or ballast, if it doesn't then it's something at the plug or farther back!

Maybe you just got cheap and ****** ballasts.
I did, ordering som cheap crap from China. One of them did not work at all. So I spent a few bucks more, and bought some better ones.

I would definitely try this first. Have you tried turning your brights on and off to see if that fixes it? I know I had that problem with one not coming on because my battery wasn't strong enough at the time.

ive got an 02 Yukon denali and have aftermarket hids installed. my problem is everytime I turn the key on the hids come on like they are supposed to but when I start the vehicle the passenger side goes out. if I turn the key on and hit the dome override to kill the automatic lights and start the vehicle and then turn the lights on manually then the lights work fine. is there a solution to fix this problem? everything is wired correctly and it has a relay harness.
