Question, you used the round dremel bit to bevel the reflector bowl by that bulb port, why? Is it necessary? Just wondering this thread is giving me the guts to try this myself. Also did you have to cut your shroud at all for fitment in the bowl? Is so how much?

Sorry for the extremely late reply. I have not subscribed to my own thread.

I used the IRIS shroud, it needs a VERY VERY Slight trim on the upper part.

Yes, I used the round bit.

It is necessary IMO because the projector will NOT sit flush otherwise.

Any more questions yo can ask on here or PM me anytime.

Any updates on this, Lee? Is there a specific thread on HIDPlanet you referenced for this build?

Its all still sitting in my library room.
It will NOT be for long at all though.

My Sylvania zXe bulb on the right side just went out yesterday. Not about to buy another bulb, so all this should be going on very soon.

A note of the zXe...... they do not last....... at all.

I did follow a few threads on there. Not any one specifically. Member iCalvin helped me a lot. We literally sent like 300+ SMS messages back and forth.

Due to the fact that I stay rolling and don't get a lot of "Vacation Nathan" type of time lol :)....... stuff just sits.

I have a cure for it all though........

Soon enough the Suburban will be parked for mods. I may be rocking another car soon.
