Wow seriously?

$75K vehicle without full HID lighting. :nolol:

Ya I was kind of disappointed myself the low beam hid are way better than the lights in the previous model. But it would be nice if the high beams were hid also. And another thing that looks funny is when you turn the fog light on with the hids on there not the same color light.

Led fog light bulb will fix that.

It looks like HID retrofits are still going to be needed even with the new Denalis ... and there I thought we'd be past that by now.

Ya I assumed when they said they had hid lights that would mean all hid lighting. What led fog light bulbs should I go with

I don't want to further derail the OP's thread ... if you want to shoot me a PM with the bulb type I'm happy to look into it for you.

Yes, I indicated that I have a 2015 Yukon.....ordered the HID light kit for it (low beam only) Two separate bulbs in each housing. Low beam is projector, high beam is bulb.

Did you order the 35 or 55w ballasts? What's the difference between the HD relay and Canbus?

Canbus is for vehicles that give error messages on the dash when a bulb fails.

55W will fry the internals of most halogen projectors.

I ordered the 35W. (same as my off road toys).

So, what say ye about HID high beams? Not worth it? or beam too scattered?

Like most HID bulbs in halogen reflectors, they will appear brighter to the eye because more light is put out, but will actually generate less usable light on the road hence impair vision.

(yellow and red links in my sig are a long but somewhat useful read)

So what do I order to do this? Do we need to cut our housing at all or just drop in and wire?

I'm coming from an X5 with awesome hid lights that turned with the car so this is the biggest letdown.
