A canceler kit is for vehicles that have a strobing effect when HIDs are installed. You won't need one for applications on GMT900 vehicles.
A relay harness is made to provide extra power to the ballasts that way the both fire properly... It is recommended that you use a relay harness with applications on our vehicles; however, I don't use one, and my low-beam HIDs work fine.
