Hid?

Hi guys I am new to the forum and have a couple of questions about HID. I want to go with the 6000K output on both my headlights and fog lights. I wanted to know if I need to change the housing of the headlights and fog lights because I was told they would melt due to the HID's???? The only thing you would have to worry bout melting is your fog lights. But because we don't sell 35 watt Ballast for your fog lights you shouldn't have to worry about that. We have sold numerous kits (5202 fog light kits) and a rare select few ever come back with that issue, but we have seen that a lot of those customers are in areas where its cold and a lot of moisture. We think its moisture getting in the fog light and the heat and moisture start to burn the chrome. But trust us we haven't had this issue in a very long time, over 3 years ago. For the headlights you will be fine, heat dissipates really fast on those bigger housings so no worries about melting those housings.
