Just to update this, I never moved my ground to a different place (it's still connected straight to the battery) but I did finally buy and install some distribution blocks so I could install my mini amplifier for the tweeters and run the DSP power and ground to the same place. I installed the blocks and moved the DSP power and ground last weekend and that took care of the generator whine and I installed the mini amp yesterday and that took care of the hissing in the tweeters, I guess that amplifier and these tweeters don't get along because I didn't have hissing when it was in my other vehicle. So now I have two available channels for rear speakers or for a three-way setup down the road. It isn't my prettiest work but it all fits under the dash so it won't even be seen once I get everything tuned and I put the trim back on permanently.

Not to be rude,I am new. Why didn't you make a floating amp rack where the factory amp was and extend the floating amp rack arms to catch center console bin?

Because if you're keeping the factory radio you have to keep the factory amplifier or there will be no volume control. A floating rack isn't possible where the factory amplifier is because there is very little room under there. I originally removed the factory amplifier and put the DSP under there but had to backtrack once there was no volume control (the radio communicates to the amplifier over the low speed network, when you turn the volume knob the radio sends a message to the amplifier to change the volume). It is much better to have the amplifier where in place of the factory subwoofer anyway because I can still get to it without having to take the seats out and the console apart. So even if I went with an aftermarket radio, I would still put the amplifier where I have it.
