Flooded the driver's side fog with snow.. melted.. now it's 1/2 full of water. (well, was 1/2 full of water)

from my understanding... those bulbs get hot.. and if dirty water was on the bulb, won't that be a problem?

I re-sealed the housing.. still some vapor in there tho.. goes nuts when I light it up-

Yikes, just wait till its all evaporated to fire it up. Pull bulb and clean with alcohol or even windex in a pinch. Blow dry the housing with bulb out or fill with alcohol, pour out, and then blow dry. Did it crack too? I actually put a bead of silicone around my fogs, bumperlights, and DEPO prpjectors just in case there was a quality issue. Cheap insurance.

that sucks. at least the snow didn't break your fog light like it did mine. damn plastic bracket broke. luckily i was able to rivet a piece of metal over the two pieces.

i would definitely get all moisture out and try to clean the bulb with alcohol as well before firing it back up.

Pulled the fog, opened it up. Cleaned bulb with alcohol and lint free cloth, same with housing.

Blow-dried it all and re-sealed with black RTV silicone.. also sealed the projectors, bumper lights, and tails..

took forever :(
