I put HIDS in my FOGS, aka OBS escalade one's. DDM's 35w 880 43k kit. It has a lifetime warranty.

Bulbs metled due to heat.....wtf? Thinking about cutting a very small hole on top of the housing to remove heat. Any other siggestions?

HID Bulbs melted or the fog light lenses melted?

The bulbs melted, I'm also thinking the housing melted too. They were brand new (fog lights) water got inside. I'm thinking that it go so hat inside that it melted glue that holds the lense to the housing.

I was thinking more into it...

Drill a small hole into the housing on an angle, harder to get water/elements is...

Also thinking,

Drill a small hole on an angle on the top of the housing BIG ENOUGH to fit a small rubber hose and route the hose so it Faces the front of the vehicle. Vehicle will never be submerged in water, But I figure it would also make another obstacle for elements to get into. I'll have the hose in a "C".

If I remember reading correctly, DDM does not recommend HIDs in smaller fog housings just for that reason.

Whats a 25watt kit? put it less heat...basically less bright as well?

Guess I'll use the old kit for reverse lights :)

New ones for the 25watt. I don't think DDM sells 25watt kits...who sells em and doesnt want an assload of money. A lifetime warranty would be cool too.
