Hi All,

I just installed a pair of DDM tuning low beams and they work great in the projectors!

I had a pair of 9005 LEDs (for the high beam) from Underground Lighting that didn’t fit inside the housing of my Ram, so I tried to use them today on our Yukon XL. The module WILL NOT fit inside that high beam housing, very narrow gaps.

So, what are y’all running for 9005 high beam LEDs that you were able to fit the module inside the housing? The DDM module is definitely thinner from DDM compared to the huge brick attached to the Underground Lighting LED.

Thanks!
*Edited to clarify 9005 for high beams*

Are you saying (1) that the end of the LED hits the outer clear light housing front, before the connector can get inserted and locked into position at the back of the light housing's connector hole, or are you saying (2) that the LED's connection collar is not compatible with the light housing's connecting hole?

I wasn’t even able to screw the bulb into the hole. The problem was the black module (I don’t know if it’s a decoder or what but it’s inline between the connector to the Yukon wiring and the bulb itself) is too bulky. It won’t slip past the connecting collar into the housing so I can connect the bulb and the dust cover.

VLED micro extreme, fit in my 2019 tahoe with no issues, has some other brands these were the brightest and best light pattern, about 3 years without a problem
Thanks! I was scouring forum posts after I made this post and think I may have seen another post you made about this light. It looks good and doesn’t have the big module attached like other LEDs I’ve seen. I ordered a pair for my Ram and the Yukon which are arriving today. Looking forward to getting them installed.
