High idle at start up

Cleaned the MAF & TB on my 04 6.0 Escalade along with an Airaid intake tube and filter idles fine in D & R just at start up it goes up to 2k then idles down to where it should in a second or 2, after driving it for a bit the PCM should adjust and it will fine?

That is a strange symptom. Disconnect the wire connector to make sure there is no damage to the contacts. If it continues, something is amiss. Could you have left something unconnected such as intake air temp sensor?

If anyone has this issue in the future disconnect the - battery cable for an hr, before you reconnect the cable pump the brakes 3x, hook it back up when start it it's gonna idle around 1500-1800 then idle down to where it should be let it run for 3 mins, shut it off for 3mins, then run for another 3 mins, then let it run in drive and reverse 3 mins each take it for a drive and your good to go
