Hey all, been lurking here since I had an Avy a while back.

I'm about to pick up an 07-08 Tahoe 4x4(noairride) and looking at 70-80k miles on it.

It is going to be the family hauler/weekendwarrior rig. I am going to lift it as soon as I get it.

My questions are with the high mileage do y'all think I should just use the 2.5"-1.5" kit? And keep the factory shocks and coils? Or should I just go ahead and get a 3.5" kit that comes with new shocks, uca, etc.?

Just going to run 33"s will be hitting some mud getting to hunting spots. No play wheeling.

Here's my Avy, and my current rig. Can't wait to be back in a Chevy. 'MERICA!

First off - Welcome from Houston.

You should be fine with the stock springs, and just do the spacers.

Another question, I really like the stock 20" like on the Avy. I've searched but came up kind of empty. Anybody run 1" or 1.5" spacers to push out those wheels a bit with bigger tires?

Just find a leveling kit that gets you the height you want and go for it. I do not consider 70-80k miles to be high mileage at all. I'm at 141k on my 2009 tahoe right now and have put 10k miles on it in the past 6 months after I installed a 3" level, with no problems so far.
