04 chevy suburban recently had a look over no codes or issues present

when pulling off from stop i have a revving sound going in unison with engine and goes away after getting into next gear although transmission shifts fine, cant figure where its coming from, its a bit louder than engine only thing i can say I've noticed is a bit tighter/harder steering since the sound showed up and some power loss any ideas?

Does it sound like a loud roar? Has the ambient temperature been higher than normal? If so, could be your cooling fan engaging.

Well it could be the electric fans kicking into high speed. Also it could be the powwer steerring pump.

Edited so tyf doesn't turn my post into spam.
