Hitch Replacement

My 2004 Denali xl had a rusted hitch. Figured it would be easy to replace but it seems the Denali trim provides issues. I purchased a Reese 51201 but it did not have the bolts into the bumper, did not have a mount for the electric connector and did not fit between the bumper cover cutout. I wish I kept the old hitch.....

What make and model hitches fit the 2004 Yukon Denali properly?

The reese should have fit, have you contacted them to make sure you got the right part #?

It is centered The cutout on the Denali is not centered, I believe it is because the wiring plug is on the left

I purchased the Curt 13422 from Amazon and it fits well. It’s a bit different than stock so I’m still working out how to mount the 7 pin connector. Overall I’m happy so far with it.
