I'm a mechanic here in Louisiana.

I've worked on a few northern cars in the past.

If I moved up north I would rather shovel horse manure than repair cars that drive through salt and snow every year.

Enough said! Good luck!

PB Blaster is the Whip !!! Soak anything overnight and it breaks free in the morning...no matter how rusty it is. I swear by it.

I live in Ohio and when I went to try and pull mine they were so fused I soaked them in like 6 applications of PB Blaster over a week, heated them, put a huge steel rod through the front bumper onto the bar where it goes through the LCA and beat the piss out of it with a 10lb sledge and they didnt even move a tiny bit... Ended up unbolting the Tranny Xmember and cutting the keys off the bars...

Road salt is the devil

No I never got the bars to budge from the LCA...
I ended up having to unbolt and cut the xmember so I could slip it off and get to the keys. I then took an angle grinder and cut the keys off without getting into the t-bars. Slathered the ends of the bars in antiseize. Jockeyed the crossmember around to get the keys on, bolted it up, welded the part I had to cut and cranked the keys back in.

***** of a job ill tell you that much... I wouldnt count on being able to pull your keys off now that the bar is free because there is nothing to really hit against.
