Just bought a 2001 Tahoe. It appears to be in pretty good mechanical shape for 245k miles, but two mods I definitely want to do are BB tune and efans.

Now suppose funds/logistics/impatience prevents me from doing those two mods at the same time, so I go ahead and get the BB tune first. Is there any reason why I can't just have them turn the efans on in the tune, but keep the clutch fan as is? I'm not 100% sure how the clutch fan actually engages, but I assume it will keep running as long as it's attached to a spinning pulley. And as long as that happens, my temps will be fine, and having my pcm turn on fans that don't exist won't create any other problems, correct?

Yes, it can be turned on in the tune without having the fans on. We actually do that anyways for our customers, in case they go the efan route down the road.

Yep, tune first. The clutch fan engages by heat, it's completely mechanical.
