I have a 2005 Yukon Denali XL AWD. I just want to lower the front 2 inches and the rear 3. I have talked to quite a few people and done searches and it seems like you can lower the vehicle more then 1 way. It does have the factory air ride sensors also.

Whats the correct way to lower this rig? Any kits available?

Talk to DJM direct belltech makes a kit that comes with the sensors for the air ride that runs about $335 shipped. Front keys, rear shock extenders, springs, and sensor arms.

That was a waste. I called the guy and told him the car i had and asked him what i would need. "just use the tahoe stuff" Ok, well what about the leveling system. "thats the mechanics responsibility when installing the system" Well, what parts do i need to replace when doing that.. Can you give me a list of what i will need. "no, just use the tahoe stuff"

Seriously. THAT was the friggin conversation.. I tried explaning it doesnt show anything about the damn leveling system... Guy didnt know shit... Anyone else you can recommend?

disable the autoride and "just use the tahoe stuff" lol

LOL. The shocks are air though. Is there something i have to do to those. I read somewhere about modifying the little bars on the leveling system and what not...

all jokes aside...pick up some 2" belltech spindles and 3" coils (belltech or DJM) then modify the rear sensors to fit by trimming them.

Ok, so go with the spindles instead of the torsion bar keys??? Coils and shock relocator in the rear.

Any write up on modifying the rear sensors? thanks for taking the time.

spindles easier to get aligned than cranked keys...coils and relocator yessir...you can modify them once you put the drop in..maybe cut a 1/4 off.

lyrikz i lower tons of them and many of my street racing buddys that tow their cars to the races on the weekends and its fine with the belltech kit. Alos check out the feedback on the rear belltech springs they ride real nice.
