Hello, my name is Steve and I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I currently drive a 2004 Explorer that I use for work and as a first responder EMT. I have a new baby now (4 all together) and do not have third row seating so it is time to upgrade. Our primary kid vehicle is a Honda Odyssey but I still want a 4x4 for our winters.
There is a local dealer selling a 2006 full size GMC Yukon Xl SL with 154,000 miles for $9,900. I have not seen it yet but they are sending me pics. 1 owner from down south.
Is this a high price for 154,000 miles? I have been doing some reading that if maintained these vehicles can extend way past 200,000.
I have never bought a high mileage vehicle before. I put between 5 and 10 thousand miles per year if that on my Explorer.
Just looking for your thoughts.
