I was wondering if anyone knows what might be causing my truck to keep blowing out hot air out of the vents even after I turn the heater completely off and move the knob for the temp all the way to the coldest part (blue to red fade bar). Its a 2001 LT model but no climate control just the knobs with the blue and red fade bar.

Mine has done this a few times. I turn the truck off and restart and it's fine then. Sucks to have to do it, but it's the only way I've found so far. I think I read somewhere about the actuator goin' to far and stickin' on hot.

Yea, that works for my friends 05 Silvy but not on mine. Thanks tho for the feed back. You letting me know it may be an actuator gives me somewhere to start looking.
