Hot Line from Transmission?

Hi,
I have an 09 Tahoe with the 6L80 transmission. When looking at the radiator, which transmission line is hot that comes from the transmission, and which is the return? In some research, some are saying the top line at the radiator is the return to the transmission.

Can anyone confirm this is true for my Tahoe?

That is correct. Should be cooler than the bottom line during operation.

Top line goes to the external transmission cooler or straight back to the transmission depending on your setup.
