Hey guys, I've been riding around with the window stuck up for over a year now and I'm posting this back up again so that maybe a fresh face might know how to do it.
The window motor is kaput, it won't budge at all. I've gotten all the way down to trying to wiggle the inner door skin and window assembly out of the door in one piece, but don't want to break the window.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to replace the motor when the window is stuck up? Is there a way to drill out the motor rivets from the back to release the glass?
I'm tired of opening my door for every drive-thru, atm, and to let the heat out. The frickin' Chiltons says "Roll the window all the way down." How am I supposed to do that with a burned out motor?!?
